Learn how to create a Melon basket

There is something special about creating a basket, especially one big enough to take collecting in the garden.

This workshop is one for those keen to create an organic style basket with natural materials using a method called twinning. In this workshop we will be using vines as well as other garden materials. 
At the end of the workshop you will have the knowledge on how to start and finish a melon basket.

No previous knowledge is needed of this workshop but it can be handy to have been to a pervious workshop of mine and know the basics of twining and cordage.

Such a vast variety of materials can be used and almost any and all shapes and sizes can be formed. 

For thousands of years men and women have gathered together to weave, I invite you to come with an open mind and heart and enjoy a lovely time with beautiful people.  

Included in the workshop is all materials needed (You are always encouraged to bring other materials if you would like they just need to be dried), snacks and a hot beverage.
