At the centre of this piece a beautiful unique piece of natural formed wood pendant.
This wood piece is called a gall and is formed when a parasite enters a small branch and the tree continues to grow around it. Naturally they fall off and the insect emerges. I then carve off the outer layer and allow the pieces to revel themselves naturally.
